A rockstar ( laughs), I just wanted to play music, that’s it.

How did you start playing music ?

My grandfather bought me a guitar when I was 14, that was the only thing I had. I bought my first bass when I was 18. Music was the only positive thing around me as a child growing up in foster homes. Also just listening to music, vibing with the words and the messaging. It was escapism for me, something that I could dream about.

First Music that you loved?

the first two Metallica records hit me really hard, I was 10 or 11, they were melodic and deep.

If you could create a job that doesn’t already exist what would it be?

Housing kids that don’t have any future hope and exposing them to art, art and music and letting them deep dive into their interests, a cultural orphanage for misfit island kids

A month and 1/2 ago, it was a redemption thing, and realizing that I knew that, and self forgiveness.
