Angela Denae - Intuitive Style Guide

What is the first thing you do when you start your day?
The great morning debate: matcha or mushroom coffee. Then silence or lo-fi music while I journal my dreams and decide what I want the day to feel like.
What two accessories does the Angela Denae action figure come with?
Scissors and sage. Scissors for cutting — cords, tags, versions of myself that no longer serve me. Sage for raising the frequency after the shadow work is done. (She is also packed with a full wardrobe change, because every new timeline deserves a new fit.)
What smell brings back the best memories?
Lavender — fresh especially— takes me straight back to traveling through the hills of Rufino, Italy. The smells of damp soil after a fresh rain in the forest, my favorite place on earth. I share my secrets and worries with the trees.
If you had intro music, what would your song be?
"Big Things Poppin (Do It)'" by T.I. It was my mom's favorite song, so she's with me every time it plays — and honestly, it's what my life looks like every time I shift into a new version of myself.
What are 3 things you have faith in?
The Most High — Source — first, always. Then myself: a self-trust that even when I forget to remember, I always come back to me. And love. No matter how much pain or betrayal I've walked through, I always follow love and following love always leads me back to God, back to source, back to self. It's really all one road.
When did you realize you were a grown up?
Maybe last year? Mind you, I'm 45. I'm always a child in my heart space.
What did you learn a little too late?
I don't believe in "a little too late." If you're alive and conscious enough to catch the lesson, it arrived right on time.
Any tips for getting a good night's sleep?
Make it a dopamine ritual — a slow-down party. A chill playlist that only exists in the evening. Lights automated to dim at the same time every night, so my whole environment announces it's time to land. Books I only let myself read at night. And a "sleepy girl" mocktail — tart black cherry juice with magnesium, remixed to my mood that I only drink at bedtime, so I look forward to it all day.
Angela Denae is currently in her nomad era — the city changes every month, but you can always find her at www.adstylestudio.com. She's an intuitive style guide in the middle of a shift, which means her business is shifting right along with her.
